Giving Blood

Yesterday I gave blood in the blood Mobile that came to my work. It went pretty fast, for me at least. I took 12 of the 15 minutes you have to give the blood. I drank some juice and then walked over to the waiting area to get some cookies. When eating the cookies I started to get warm and nausea. So I stood up to get some water... bad idea, I got really light headed so I wave the flobotinist down and they took me back to a bed, elevated my feet and gave me a few ice packs to help me cool down. after another 10-15 minutes I was feeling fine again and went back into work. An hour later I got really nausea again so I went into and office laid down for 20 minutes and felt better. I know giving blood my make me feel bad for a day or so but I know it will help some one in much greater pain than I am in.

What's the Challenge?

The Mission:Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days.

The Criteria:Tasks must be specific (ie. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (ie. represent some amount of work on my part).

Why 1001 Days? Many people have created lists in the past - frequently simple goals such as New Year’s resolutions. The key to beating procrastination is to set a deadline that is realistic. 1001 Days (about 2.75 years) is a better period of time than a year, because it allows you several seasons to complete the tasks, which is better for organising and timing some tasks such as overseas trips or outdoor activities.
